Who Receives SMS From Marathon 360
Marathon 360 Ltd does not send SMS to recipients whose contact information was obtained from third parties. SMS recipients are limited to two groups:
- Clients of Marathon 360 Ltd under signed service agreement — typically prime property agents and boutique agencies engaging the Done-For-You Pipeline, where SMS is listed as a delivery channel for service updates, billing reminders, and appointment notifications.
- Individuals who submitted a form on marathon360.co.uk and ticked the SMS consent box — for follow-up on the specific enquiry submitted.
We never use SMS for outbound prospecting, cold outreach, or third-party lead generation. SMS is sent only to the two recipient groups listed above — signed clients and people who submitted a marathon360.co.uk form with the SMS consent box ticked. Phone numbers held by clients in their own branded CRM portal (their own contacts) are messaged on the client's own infrastructure when the client uses our platform, not on Marathon 360's SMS programme.
Programme Description
Marathon 360 Ltd may send SMS / text messages to mobile phone numbers you have provided to us. The categories of message we may send are:
- Service updates — onboarding milestones, technical issues with the agency portal, scheduled maintenance.
- Appointment confirmations — strategy calls, onboarding milestones, account-review reminders.
- Account notifications — billing reminders, contract renewals, important platform changes.
- Sample-request follow-up — for individuals who requested a sample on the website and ticked the SMS consent box: an SMS confirming receipt and a follow-up if the email reply lands in spam.
- Marketing messages — only where you have separately and expressly consented at sign-up; covers special offers, discounts, and service promotions to existing Marathon 360 clients only.
Service updates, appointment confirmations, account notifications, and sample-request follow-up are operational messages. Marketing messages are sent only when you have ticked the marketing-consent box on a form or otherwise opted in in writing, and are sent only to existing Marathon 360 clients (never to non-clients).
How You Opt In
You opt in to SMS communications by:
- Submitting a contact, sample-request, or strategy-call form on marathon360.co.uk and confirming the consent checkbox.
- Replying YES or START to a one-time double-opt-in message we may send after you have provided your number.
- Signing a service agreement that lists SMS as a delivery channel.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the holder or authorised user of the mobile number provided.
How You Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number from which you received our message. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
You can also opt out by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "SMS opt-out" and the mobile number you wish to remove.
Help
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging programme you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at [email protected].
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your account activity and the services you have subscribed to. As a guide:
- Service / operational messages: 0 to 5 per week during active campaigns; less when no campaign is running.
- Marketing messages (where opted in): typically 1 to 5 per week, never more than 8 per week.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages based on your account activity and the services you have subscribed to; frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Non-Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-sharing disclosure.
Numbers We Use to Send
For now, please reply STOP to the number from which you received any message; that number will always honour the unsubscribe.
Programme Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by SMS or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
